THE CLINIC - Design / animation
The Clinic which is currently being broadcast on Sunday nights on RTE One has been nominated for 3 awards in the upcoming Irish Film and TV Awards. The three nominations being for Best Actress in TV Aisling O’Sullivan and two for Best Supporting Actors in TV Gary Lydon and Chris O’Dowd. The Clinic was also nominated 4 awards in 2004 including Best TV Drama, Best Actor – David Wilmot, Best Supporting Actor – Gary Lydon, Best Supporting Actress – Rachel Pilkington Husband and wife team Dr. Cathy and Dr. Ed Costello, own and run a clinic in the Haddington Road area of Dublin. I was responisble for the title concept and design. I shot a light box in the grading suite and composited over shots in After fx. Combined stills of actors and various textures I created a 30sec opening title.
